Old Boys Association
Class of 2005

Tahira Kashyap

Founded in 2011, Primus 05 emerged as a vital bridge connecting the dynamic, alumni of the Christ the King College (CKC) Onitsha, class of 2005. An organization born to cultivate a bond and provide a forum for former classmates to come together, regardless of achievements or social status, and relive the spirit of unity and friendship shaped in our formative years.

In the eve of April 2011, five classmates decided to have a hang out; Ebuka Eneh, Nnenyelike Nchedo, Aduaka Ikenna, Fidelis Ikeji and Enemuo Uchenna at the anti-lounge of the Finsbury Park Nkpor. As discussions went on, flashback of memories began to pop out and with careful orchestration, plans were put put in place for the first reunion party that took place in December 2019.

The course was set on and we started thriving till we had our milestone project of celebrating our 10 years anniversary of graduating from CKC in 2015 alongside other notable projects, activities, outings and several reunion parties which has been serving as an annual home call for us; to rejuvenate, applaud each other on success and achievements reached so far while we carefully set out for more wins in the preceding year.

At the heart of Primus 05 lies its mission: "Together to Greater Heights." This guiding principle emphasizes the power of collective strength and mutual support, echoing the timeless wisdom that "iron sharpens iron." This organization is committed to fostering an environment where every member can share experiences, ideas, and resources to propell each other toward personal and professional growth.

Over the years, CKC Onitsha has cultivated a rich legacy of academic excellence and character formation. Graduates carry forward this legacy, and Primus 05 serves as a nurturing space where this is practically exhibited. Classmates connect, collaborate, and contribute to various initiatives—be it social gatherings, mentorship programs, charitable events, or skill-sharing workshops—aim to create an active network that benefits not just the individuals involved, but also the wider community and our alma-mata.

Primus 05 strives to be a haven where nostalgia meets progress, allowing members to reminisce about our shared past while building a promising future. By creating opportunities for interaction, professional development, and service, the organization reinforces the idea that each member is an integral part of a larger family.

As it continues to grow, Primus 05 remains dedicated to upholding the values of respect, integrity, and mutual upliftment that were central to our education at CKC Onitsha. Through various activities and initiatives, the organization is not just a reflection of our past; it is a catalyst for future achievements, uniting the class of 2005 in a supportive community committed to making lasting impacts, both within and beyond our alma mater.

In the years to come, Primus 05 envisions our association as a formidable network of empowered individuals who inspire each other and the next generation of alumni, fostering a legacy of excellence, service, and brotherhood that will echo through the halls of CKC for generations to come.
